Tue, 01 February 2005 23:28 The first site states Optimax at 98RON, and Ultimate at 97RON (I don't actually know the difference between RON and MON... never heard of MON until today ) And then this guy says "Ran mine on Optimax for almost a year with no problems (at 1.2bar for 3 months) or knock, had to use BP Ultimate once and was forced to turn the boost to 0.8 to avoid knock." Kind of mixed results in there, but now that i've read both pages for a 2nd time, they both seem to point the thumbs down to Optimax. Is Ultimate any better?? I never know what "performance" petrol to use [Report message to a moderator]
