Unless your really dodgy and cut a slit in the paper to slide over the needle, you have to remove the needle to change the face. This will affect the calibration but if you are careful to note where the needle sits before you take it off and put it back in teh same place, then you will get it pretty darn close. When you look at in the big scheme of things, we are all running non standard tyre sizes and have speedo's calibrated to +/-5% at best from the factory. Add to this that regardless of what your speedo said if the radar says you were over the limit, then you have to pay the fine. Yep the new ones will be vinyl stickers on tinted perspex backings.
