I'm guessing you don't have a multimeter/wouldn't know what to check to get continuity through wires etc?
As for the leak, depends where it is... If you are handy with tools, you'll be able to fix it yourself... If not... Send it to the mechanics to have it fixed...
The leak though, may not actually be a leak... It could be that you have boiled your fluid and it has filled the over flow tank, and this itself has overflowed...
Check your coolant level in the radiator it self to make sure you haven't lost too much...
