JCMF I agree with your comments. 96-02 1J VVTi Soarers are Single turbo and I've only ever seen them quoted at 9.0:1 CR 91-96 1J Soarers are twin turbo and are quoted as 8.5:1 But i've seem TT 1Js (Chasers or Crowns) quoted as 9.0:1 when they are pre-96 models which would make them Twin turbo.
