SilverGhost Forums Junkie Location: Sydney Registered: September 2004	Re: Removing Carbon build up Fri, 04 February 2005 01:09 near obsession??? the reasoning behind it, and quite possibly your apparent lack of understanding on the issue is that US spec cars run on shit fuels and are tuned down to compensate for the causes of preignition... Aus and JAP spec motors are tuned with performance and emmission standards in mind, and are tuned to the brink of preignition, but because we run better fuels carbon buildups are minimal at best so it hardly ever becomes an issue. But for whatever cause if you get excessive carbon build ups in our engines it makes our engines ping to the shithouse... I havent hit boost in a couple weeks because of this....so obsession?!? id research the issue and get some facts before you start asking stupid questions, and spurting out cliches [Report message to a moderator]
