Ok now, the cams are in front of me as i type...
On the exhaust cam there's the numbers "3107" in raised (about 0.25mm) writing on a 0.25mm raised rectangle, and i think the lift is about 7.45 (measured dodgily with my dad's dial guage), and the intake cam has "K.F. 6750" stamped into it, as well as a rectangle in the same place as the exh. cam, with 3897 raised on top of it. The lift on this one is about 7.35... but i'm probably pretty out with those measurements.
I snapped my timing belt yesterday but no valve mashing sounds were heard. I didn't think this was possible, dont the pistons hit the valves if the timing belt snaps? Anyway, provided everything is ok, i'll put the cams in when i put on the new belt, as long as this is possible. I am not far from a dyno so i'll hopefully limp it to there to get tuned... If it goes.
Any comments, advice etc from here?
Thanks
