I've sat behind one wally who sat behind the line for three, yes three sets of lights. If he'd moved into the intersection, he, and probably myself would have got through on the first set. If everybody stayed behind the line in Melbourne and waited for a clear gap to turn, I wouldn't have left 5 years ago, I'd still be waiting to turn right somewhere. Probably in Carlton. In Melbourne and Sydney you can get a dozen cars into any given intersection, and, with the minimum of panel damage, all can make it around on the yellow! If, perchance, you're behind the line waiting to turn right somewhere, and there's a large white 4WD screaming at you to "Get into the ****ing intersection!", wave and I'll wave back! P.S: Queensland is the only state in the country where you can buy a $70000 car, and the indicators still seem to be extra! The more expensive the car, the less they're used......
