I have the same AMP i think.
Boss BA1200 or similar. 4 channel 1000watt.
I will give you a word of advice. You will not be able to run A BIG 15 off it. It simply does not have the power.
The figures it quotes are at 2Ohms per channel. Bridging two channels into the SUB will yield about 120W RMS (no where near enough grunt for a big Subby!!!)
You should not need more than 1 12" in a celica anyway!
But seriously if you want a crazy loud system, get a serious amplifier. Put 280W RMS through your 250W RMS 15inch and you will be more than happy. Put 120W RMS through it and it will be O.K but disappointing.
For reference
My system in my ST162 Celica is as follows
1x 12" 250W RMS sub
2x 60W RMS @ 4 Ohms 6x9 speakers (Kenwood)
1x set of 4" 40W RMS @ 4 Ohms Splits (Kenwood) <- great value!!
2x 3.5" MB quart 2 way speakers (Nice! )
1x Boss 4 chan amp
1x Pioneer 2 chan amp.
all this = MORE THAN ENOUGH for a CELICA! and sub not even maxed out.
Cheers,
Adam.
