Mon, 07 February 2005 03:52 afaik they're both designed to let air bypass something like the flap in the afm, or the throttle body butterfly. The one on the AFM appears to be an adjustment to get the AFM flap to sit at the idle position by letting air pass by... I assume it'd also affect the mixture slightly.
