Spray some/lots of Kenco degreaser around the engine bay and let it sit for 5 mins.Use a high pressure washer to remove all the oil,dirt etc.Make sure you wear old clothes for this as the washer is good for transfering the dirt from the engine onto you.
Blow out the plug leads,dizzy cap etc with compressed air all should be good.
