Here's something I found when searching about it.
After taking the time (or paying someone) to remove the trans, open it up, modify the diff, reinstall the trans, blow up the diff, try to find a new one hoping that chunks of metal did not ruin the rest of the trans, opening it up again and removing the bad diff and reinstalling a new diff, and reinstalling the trans, the price of the quaife is more than worth it. Did I also mention aligning the car every time you remove the subframe?
And this is considered the best case scenario. Worst case is it ruins your entire trans, while leaving you stranded in some ghetto.
Was some pretty nasty photos as well but I don't know how to post pictures into this forum.
cars were some Yank Ford FWD's I think but they also commented that they seemed to work Ok in some other models.
