If you must. shotpeen the rods and use ARP rod bolts. Relatively cheap and easy to do whilst you have the donk in bits. Not sure what the 1J rods look like, but there might be some room for lightening them. If they are anything like the 2JZ rods, the std items should be good for 8500 rpm.
Some of the prices above look a little lean too. Argo rods for a 6 are a little more than that, and the price quoted for headwork is very favorable (of course it depends how far you want to go).
