My friends were in the queue for an hour at least and before you get into the enrolment queue you have to get your timetable signed which takes at least another hour because people rock up not having a clue about anything. I hadn't eaten anything all day and then I'm waiting to get my timetable signed (I'd already done it, exactly the same as my friend's). It was taking ages but she'd already got it signed so I knew I was sweet. I get there and the idiot woman is trying to interest me in a new degree. I have a minimal timetable because I'm trying to transfer and you have no idea how tired I am by now. You need a minimum of 12 credit points/year. I tell her that I'm going to transfer and stuff and it was like she was heartbroken. She was askin me what I wanted to transfer to etc. and suggesting subjects. I kept telling her I wasn't interested. She tells me the rate I'm going it will take me 6 years to finish the degree (I already told her I'm transferring! I won't be completing it woman!). She kept saying I needed more subjects. I asked again isn't a minimum of 12 credit points per year? She tells me no. I tell her my friend made exactly the same timetable and got it signed. She replies "Yeah.. I'm a bit surprised. She must of been lucky". WTF?! If she can get it signed it means it CAN be done. Why won't this pigheaded woman sign mine!? I did Jap extension in the HSC so I thought ok I'll do some easy beginners Jap course to fill in. I walk away and say bye to my friends but then I get angry again. WTF this is wrong. It IS a minimum of 12 per year not 12 per semester! So I go back and this time I wait another painstakingly agonising hour or more and go to the Chinese lady. She tells me my first semester is sweet but I need an extra subject for second semester. So the rules change again! I was like *sigh* I'll just have to do Jap then. I really just wanted to go home. Got like 4 hours sleep the night before, hadn't eaten or drank anything. So she suggested some easy maths bullshit course and I'm like yeah OK whatever. Then I'm waiting in line and just staring at the piece of paper. Now the times of the maths class werent filled in. Only MATH (something) up the top. Hmmmm.... then it came to me! I crossed it out and still had the signature on the timetable. Fuck it if I was gonna get in trouble -- I'd argue my way out. About 15 minutes a guy comes along and checks "6 and 9 (credit points), that's fine". ARGGH . I wasted over 2 hours of my life on those idiot bitches. WHY COULDN'T THEY JUST SIGN THE DAMN THING?! /end rant. [Report message to a moderator]
