I looked around some half/cut import places and found out that I can get a 20v 4age for around 1600 bux with wiring and suspension, brakes etc.....Or 700 for the engine alone..... Apparently, as i was told, that the air intake needs modding, and the extractors need to be configured for rwd.

the 1jz gte would be very nice, and i know it is probably similar in price....but keep in mind A) insurance for a 21yr old B) rego on a 6cyl in QLD and C) too young to die just yet. Would be kick ass though.

So i have decided to start saving for the 20v....unless other people have suggestions.... Reason again is that i saw in a magazine that an MR2 with 4AGZE did the 1/4 in 12s.....20v 4 AGTE.....in 74 celica is looking quick enough without being front heavy, a fuel pig or hanging too far over the wheels to cause understeer. My thoughts anyway.

Let me know further suggestions.

Crok.
