the 20v on its own is a pretty poor motor IMHO - no torque, and nothing near the quoted power output from toyota.

i wouldnt bother with the 20V honestly. You will get just about the same results from a smallport 16V 4A-GE, for probably less $$ outlay because you dont have to modify all the water outlets and more importantly the dissy.

i only mentioned the 1JZ as a price comparison - fitting that in a TA22 is, well, tight.
