Tue, 08 February 2005 05:48 hi mate, i used to install stereos for 2 years, so i think i can help you. levos1 is half right, the first thing is to keep the RCA cables away from other cables as much as possible, incl factory stuff. spkr and power cables can stay together its ok. remove your earth cable bolt and sand the paint back to the metal to ensure good contact. also check the earth lead on the battery if it is good enough. pioneer is a reputable brand but ive never heard of your amp, it sound like a cheaper brand and it may be the cause of your problem. does one of your friends have another amp to try in the car. hope this helps mate.
