reed switch fix for 20V in CS Limited Tue, 08 February 2005 11:14 Go to previous message
I need to do the reed switch fix for my AE92 with Silvertop. I have searched the Jaycar and Dicksmith websites for reed switches and they only appear to have reed switches for house alarms which seem to be mentioning voltages of 100V and 200V. I'm guessing this is NOT the correct type of reed switch? Where do I get the correct reed switch? (part number perhaps?)
I was wondering if the (sorry if this is stupid) magnetic wheel speed sensor from the bike computer on my mountain bike would work?? surely its fairly robust?
Please help. I want to try and take my car to Willowbank this weekend.

Cheers,
Julian.
