I always love these things  Not long ago, a MUSIC TEACHER of mine insisted that I should try this Amazing Oil Additive, and gave me a promotional video etc., she and her son were actually somewhat offended when I laughed! Anyway, I said I'd stuff some in my old gearbox to prove a point (I couldn't see the harm), and, errr, well, stuffed if I can tell the difference... But like so many of these things, people will continue to go for the claims because they WANT to believe it. Anyone remember the Hiclone?
