The house alarm ones, really? Do you mean the ones that look like white blocks, looks like they would use em on doors and windows to tell when they get opened. When I saw the high voltages mentioned on the jaycar website I immediately dismissed them thinking they were unsuitable, but then again I know very little about electronics. I'll go back tomorrow and get them. From memory the website said they were only about $7 each.
