Jay Car kit...rev limiter and gear shift light...need info on igntion type!

yeah the kit asks for wiring it up in different ways for differnet type of igntion...i have a st162 with the st185 3s-gte conversion and what type is the igntion??? is it a reluctor distributor...hall effect pick up....point input..low voltage signal from ECU????which one please...i know i need the Ignition switcher kit for the rev limitor part to work but...also when i get it what wire ont eh coil (there only two) would i use???
