sideshow Forums Junkie Location: sydney Registered: March 2003	Re: starter to alternator wire size Fri, 11 February 2005 06:31 you dont really need a fuse from alternator to starter pos my local electrician says its not needed i have 8mm 100 amp wire in stock for when i wire up engines most alternators put out 65 or 75 amps so 100 is ok if tyhey have bigger alternators i run 125 amp wire if u need some meet up with me and ill cut u a length if the engine is a jap im[port then the voltage output should be aorund 14 to 14.5 v jap imports tend to run bit highe rthan aussie cars which tend to run about 13 to 13.5 [Updated on: Fri, 11 February 2005 06:33] [Report message to a moderator]
