interesting statement... exactly what do you base this on?

just curious because AFAIK the head is not the limiting factor in peak rpm on a 4AGE , its more to do with crank and stroke , now considering the stroke is still the same across the 4AGE range that leaves the crank. FA uses a 40mm main crank like a bigport and they generally rev @ 10000rpm or so.

ecu rev cut is not an indication of an engines ability to rev, although the manufacturer sets the rev limit based on peak torque and longevity of the engine.

generally a 20V will have the torque higher in the rev range but thats a factor of the flow of the head and cam profile not the ability to rev more.

so what evidence do you have to support the theory?

EDIT: forgot to add CR can be a factor too
