kingmick Forums Junkie Banned by his request Location: moved to tamworth Registered: July 2002	Re: 4age guzzling oil Sun, 17 November 2002 06:03 the reason the 4agze dosnt drink as much oil is you dont need to rev it like a 4age to make power, haha and as to your mums car munki i cant imagine her doing many 6000rpm plus changes, let me guess its an auto! they drink oil through the breather because the main oil returns are on the opposite side of the head to the breather. when you strip a 4age there is always lots of oil carbon on the pistons. just put a catch can in with a return to the sump and this will fix the problem. mick p.s and as to what a toyota mechanic say about anything to do with cars id take with a grain of salt. not all but the large portion of them and that goes for all dealer mechanics.
