Tue, 15 February 2005 06:52 Make sure that the earth of power wire does not cross over the rca in any place, if you havn't already run the power down the same side of the car as the battery and the rca's down the centre or the oposite side to the power. Check your fuses. Make sure that the power wire is as far away from you distributer as possible this is my most common problem with backyard installs. If nothing else works get a GOOD engine noise suppressor not something from supercheap. If this still doesn't work a capaciter will reduce some of the noise but you will probly have a problem with the alternator. [Report message to a moderator]
