1. check ure ignition fuse.
when u turn it to start, direct (maybe unfused power) goes to the coil "+" so it has a good supply while there is a power drop (during starting period).
2. check u even have the positive feed wire to the coil.
when i was gettin my 18rg running a while ago, it would run only with the key on the STARTER position. i just forgot to connect the coil "+" feed wire on
