Thu, 17 February 2005 19:00 Purchased a set of endless SS-M pads for my AE86 and i must say... they are the lowest performing brake pads i have EVER used (on jap spec brake setup)!!! After about 2000km of street driving... The front pads backing plate and the friction material fell apart...as in two pieces. Went back to the endless distributor, Centrax Auto QLD, They rejected warrenty claims saying that they were fitted incorrectly. They were replaced with bendix metal kings. After 3, 5 lap sessions... he rear pads are also showing major cracking while the metal kings in the front (more heat) surived. I cannot understand how Centrax can sell me a $970 set of brake pads and they fall apart after 2000km and still reject claims of a faulty product. Just to clearify... the pads were installed by professional brake specialist (ABS)... and upon inspection i was told the pads were correctly fitted but they just werent up to the task of handling hard braking... I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ENDLESS PRODUCT AGAIN!!! [Report message to a moderator]
