this argument about cut springs falling out is crap, my brand new heavy duty lowered springs will fall out just as much in fact more so as they are lower in unsprung height than the cut ones!! i had cut springs, took off 1.5 coils at the rear and 1 coil at the front which basically equates to 2.5 inches rear and 2inches front, i drove around like this for a good couple of months then the cuntstables didnt like the look of my one windscreen wiper in the middle of the windsheild (yeh yeh rice i know) and i got defected Sad but the ride was fine, pretty bouncy tho ;P and i understand that the springs are made to a certain spring rate so that when u cut it u stuff em up and the chances of hitting the bumpstops are increased but if u drive sensibly and don't hit big potholes at speed then you'll be fine. there is no substitue for a good set of properly lowered springs, ive got a good set in there now from Industrial Springs on Port Road and they are excellent. From what i've been told if u lower the car more than 30mm you *should* replace the shocks because they are not designed to work at that height and can wear out quicker or just not work properly or both.

Bliz see if anyone on here knows if the AE92 struts and springs are the same as on the AE82 if so then u can have my cut springs if u want Razz

Another option bliz is to go to industrial and they will reset ur current springs to what ever height u want this is probably better than cut springs i'd say u'd be looking at about 80 for the 4 springs. they also do real lowered springs at about 120 a pair, so 240 for the set.

And i also don't understand the misconception that everyone i have to talked to has, i've been to tyre shops, muffler places, suspension places, and they've all told me that changing the springs is a hard job that u shouldn't do yourself!! its piss easy with the help of a good socket set and spring compressors!
