The R154 will bolt up behind the 2JZ, provided you have the correct bellhousing etc. These are found behind 1JZGTEs. They used the W58 behind the GE.
I think I have worked it out now....you want to put the 2JZ bottom end in your Chaser with the VVTi head on top?
If so, you need an oil supply to the VVTi. Also you may want to flow your head just to make sure it's up to the job of the bottom end, and possibly look into 2JZGTE VVTi cams (at least get the specs so you can compare with yours).
