I know it is cool and trendy to have a super low car but the whole idea behind it is to improve handling. Road cars must have a progressive rate spring in them. This is the LAW! Proggressive rate means they are coiled tighter at one end then the other. This allows the first part of the spring to compress easily and get stiffer further down. If you cut the top off your springs you are going to have a spring which is too soft and you will bottom out! If you cut the bottom off, the spring will be too stiff and your car will bounce all over the place resulting in your car handling like a banged up shopping trolley! in summing up... YOU ARE A TOOL IF YOU CUT YOUR SPRINGS!!! [Report message to a moderator]
