Even thought the 22R has next to no HP advantage over the 18R, the 22R's extra torque will make for a faster car. I swapped my 18R for a 21R. The 18R was more fun to drive, but im pretty sure the car is quicker with the 21R. The engine and gearbox mounts should be the same, but you might need a different sump.
