Urm, which model AE82 ? The twinky uses dics all round the other models have drums on the back.
If its the twinky one of the levers at the rotor could be sticking. The way i fixed this was to jack the back of the car up, crawl under and as someone in the cab worked the handbrake i watched the cables. The one that was sticking i unbolted (Safety note - the spring is under tension) gave it a little lube and a little luving (WST-006:The love maker) had a little tanturm over the spring and bolted it back together and all was good.
The sticking lever on the rotor stopped the other one from working propurly.
If its drum rearend the shoes might even need adjusting.
