Mon, 21 February 2005 11:56 cheap mod: fit 10mm drill to electric drill, with the side of the drill flog-out the three mounting holes at the top of the strut tower - on the inner sides only. stop rooting the drill when the camber top bolts fit into the newly-enlarged holes. expensive od: firmly mount drill or drill-press above strut tower, accurately mill-out the inner faces of the mount holes to match the s13 cambertop. followup - you may have changed the upper mounting height of the strut, you have definately replaced the rubber-isolation bugger with a solid or nolathene-encased rose-joint (like soarer21's pic) so you probably need to get this legal and/or engineered ... and while you're spending money on a new or modified strut insert, you may as well look at better/different springs.
