A few questions for people can the 6 speed box bolt up to the GE. My current 7MGE is rated at 220Nm torque and the 2JZ-GE is rated at almost 300Nm.... is this correct?

Yep, 2jz-ge's are quite resonably priced I think!

The V160 6 speed (as found behind the 2jz-gte) would fit up, but have you priced one? They are ludicrously expensive! ($2500-$3000 +!)

Ad for power/torque this is what I dragged up...

JZA80 (2jzge)
Maximum power 165kW @ 6000rpm
Maximum torque 284Nm @ 4800rpm

MA70 (7mge)
Maximum power 143kW @ 5800rpm
Maximum torque 250Nm @ 4800rpm

250Nm vs 284Nm.

Are internals of 2JZ-GE strong enough to have turbo?
  |

Many ppl in the US turbo the 2jz-ge, do a search on some yank supra sites

Cheers
