Sat, 26 February 2005 01:50 yeah i wouldnt run it dry unless you want to replace the fuel pump, if its not high enough octane just add a jerry can of the correct octane or a little bit of octane booster. unless your pump cuts out before which is a good feature. from what i have heard, if you have a lower octane fuel you can drive it at low rpm safely. high octane is to stop detonation which occours at higher rpm. obviously dont drive like this for ages lol. anyone know different?
