car lands in sydney on boat
i go to shipping company office and pick up shipping release forms.
i pick up car from customs yard after its been bug sprayed and gas removed from aircon by quarantine, ect > pay the holding fee (you might not need to do this as i was slow to pick it up from them)
drive car (illegally) from customs yard to kirrawee auto sports for engineering > pay them $1500 flat fee for side intrusion, , seatbelts, unleaded fuel filler neck, fluids, remove rollcage, fit quiet muffler (not reqd). fee included blue slip and engineers report. a comp plate was never spoken about. they gave me a engineers report, a little sticker for the engineering, my blue slip and a receipt.
drove car from kirrawee to hurstville NRMA/RTA with "TRAFFIC" cardboard plates to 3rd party + rego it. used report and blue slip and payed my $1000 odd for the trouble.
drove home grinning like a dickhead.
