i used a MX62 cable and pedal.....works perfect although i have a 18rgu so i didnt shorten the cable (made for a 1g conv.  ) so it just does a loop sorta thing
two reasons i done mine;
1.sloppy linkages
2.leaked water down the rod into cab....suitable gromets arent available
cressida MX62 pedal literally bolts in with a little bit of ovalling the holes. a little twisting of the pedal is nessecary too.
also, i welded to bolts on the pedal that i can adjust the max depth of the pedal and the minimum depth of the pedal.
this is perfect for a 18R...corret length etc.
works very well
