I dunno if this is the same but 2 years ago I bought my 1966 Mustang Coupe from a bloke that had just imported it from America a matter of a few weeks beforehand. I bought it off him "as is". Exactly how it left the container. All I had to do was get a blue slip and a weighstation certificate to get it registered. I was even able to leave it LHD and still have full rego. I didn't have to do any mods to it at all. Just the blue slip sufficed. Like I said, I dunno if it's the same as what you are referring to.
