sigh....

the inlet and outlet (return) of carb are connected. if you have no pressure reg, fuel will just flow out of the carb and not into the fuel bowl (as much).

what you need to do is either:

a) use an internally regulated pump and block the return

b) block the return and put a pressure reg inline with the inlet.

c) put the pressure reg on the return line.

carb will want around 3psi.
