4A-GZE supercharger on a 7A-FE? Or just turbo it? Tue, 01 March 2005 00:57
I have an AE102 corolla seca with 7A-FE.

I was wondering if it is possible/hard to use the supercharger of an 4A-GZE for my motor? What would be involved? how much work? how much cost? I guess I would need a compliance plate too? how much boost would i be able to run? would i need an intercooler?

the other option I had thought of was to get a turbo manifold and turbo the motor. I guess I would need a custom manifold as i haven't been able to find any for sale. I would probably run around 5-6psi which i have been told would be about a 30% increase in power.

I guess I would also need to do up the exhaust too? I don't want a pod filter though as I live in a rural area, so i don't want the risk of dusting my motor.

my other option is to get Soarer around 90-94 or so, and put a manual box in it. This option is an appealing one but it would take longer to acheive.
