Do everything they want all the time and they will begin to expect it and not appreciate it. You can give them nice comments, compliments, romance them. Hell, even do the things they ask you to do on the odd occasion. But don't do it when they ask. Do it when you want too, which should not too often, and do it when the least expect it.
