I would actually suggest that its the intercooler. As its right in front of the radiator and has to work really hard to disperse all the heat that the turbo is making cause its working so hard going up the hill. Then you take the added heat from the rest of the motor that is working hard and producing more heat for the cooling system to disperse. The radiator can't get rid of the heat 'cause the 'cooler is heating it up so up goes the temp. I also have an ma70 and it does the same thing on hills.
when it was flushed did they presure check the system? There may a little leak in there somewhere making the water heat more than normal. The coolant hose to the turbo on mine went and vented under pressure.
