Surely it couldn't be that, Toyota does extensive testing and this surely couldn't be missed in the design of the JZA70.

My 3lt Turbo supra is still running a 2.8lt radiator and stock fan and i have two intercoolers stuffed in front of it. Do some more testing and you'll find the prob but take a look at the viscous clutch, replace the oil in it firstly.
