We did everything from pistons (genuine parts), through auxilliary (sp?) shaft bearings, timing dampers (not slipper) to welsch plugs and paint.
This cost around the $2175.93 mark. I know we could have got some bits cheaper, but then that doesn't include the cost of a replacement head (10" crack) or shotpening con rods.
Basically, you can get a gasket kit from ACL
I've got a top end rebuild kit here with part number DK690.
Something like that will get you somewhere. Chrome rings were arount the $60 mark for Hasting Premium.
If you don't do pistons and big bits & dampers, you can get away with it for not too much, like the other guys did.
It all adds up though.
