Sat, 05 March 2005 15:12 upgrade the heatsink and fan on the cpu as a must also add another two case fans one suck cold air in and blow it onto the cpu and another on top to blow out the hot air this will give you peace of mind that your mobo is running nice and cool on those hot summer days w/o a/c also consider a second burner that only burns cd's and a dvd rom drive use the dvd rom drive to read the dvd or cd you want to copy on the fly and use either the cd or dvd burner depending upon the format will give you reliability by using each for their own purpose all above should cost approx ~$100 more than quoted thus far if your mate can find them get the 8mb cache cd and dvd drives also its worth spending ~$10 on average on each seperate item to get one that comes with 3 5 or a lifetime warranty [Report message to a moderator]
