No Oil didn't drain everywhere, amazingly enough. I drained the sump, and let it sit for a half hour, the oil filter was a non-genuine one so it didn't have Toyota's funky oil holding valve thingy, so it was empty when I pulled it off.

Replaced with genuine part this time, so next time I will have to remove rear wheel & guard. I'll have to get me a service manual for my car...

Anyway it's amazing how much better the car runs with fresh oil!

What brand of filter did you have on then? Must oil filters come witha anti-drip valve that stops the oil from leaving the oil filter when the car is turned off. It's better for your engine. The only ones that don't are the $4 home brand ones.
