If you get a new carpet, make sure that the piles don't detach from the base. Do a scuff test on it repeatly in the one spot, if carpet piles are comming off easily, don't get that carpet. My expensive floor mats are, and I am too busy to try and claim warranty for it... Cheers. [Report message to a moderator]
