WRONG! lol
The white bush "pop's" onto the end of the shifter.
The green bush sits in the uppermost section of the gearbox (the shifter position), the gear shifter (the thing you use to change gears  ) seats into the green bush.
Your right when you get it apart you'll see whats going on
