I think everyone has overlooked Jason's comments.
You can replace the green and white bushes till your heart's content but the damn thing will still be sloppy.
You need to pull off the shifter housing and int he extention housing there is a small arm with a bushed pressed into it.
The gearbox needs to be removed from the car, oil drained and the rear casing removed to get this extention arm off.
Once off, take to a machinist to press out old flogged bush and press in a new one, around a new white bush.
I have just done this and its UBER tight.
