sideshow Forums Junkie Location: sydney Registered: March 2003	Re: ems 8860 serial cable Mon, 07 March 2005 21:46 just buy a cable theyre only 10 bucks also if yr runnin windows xp theres more things u need to do in the settings u have to make sure coms ports are same like coms1 on pc and coms 1 on ems program i have a std 9 pin extension cable cant remember what ems have as in 2 male or 2 female ends or one of each but it worked the ems program crashed in windows xp sometimes on my laptop i hate doin ems cause of the bullshit time wasted each time to get online but once u work it out it will prob work most of the time the software that comes with some of these aftermarket ecus is so fukt too fukin slow wont work with most laptops u need an old laptop running dos they dont spend enough time and money developing the software each time u change something on ems program takes fukin ages to upload [Updated on: Mon, 07 March 2005 21:52] [Report message to a moderator]
