4agte Forums Junkie Location: Toronto, Downtown Registered: September 2004	Re: AW11 4AGE MR2 underheating Tue, 08 March 2005 07:13 sounds like there is a air lock in the cooling system where someone has changed the coolent incorrectly or the thermostat is rooted. If the thermostat is rooted it will stay open allowing the water to continually run through the block and then to the radiator meaning the engine will run really cool. Its a common problem in 4age's especially if some dingbat has used green coolant in it or mixed green coolant with red coolant. Only use red coolant in 4age's. [Report message to a moderator]
